- The grit are at the back of your sandbelt.
- Check your invoice for the grit your purchase previously.
Question: Why does my sandbelts separate easily at the joint?
Answer:
- The sandbelts had been kept for too long. Maximum shelf life is 4 to 6 months.
- The rough handling during the sanding process between the materials and sand belts.
- Check the speed of your hand tools and sandbelt machines and the contact handling of the materials on the sandbelts. If the speed is too high, adjust the speed accordingly.
- Regularly maintain the hand tools and sandbelt machines by cleaning out the dirt on the cushion which holds the sand belts.
Question: Is it possible to join back broken joint?

- No. Purchase new sand belts and take note of your quantity usage and method of using the sandbelts. All personals must be trained and supervise on the handling of sandbelt machines, materials and sandbelts.
